The Learning Disability, Autism, and Neurodivergence Bill

 If it becomes law, the new Learning Disability, Autism, and Neurodivergence Bill will be the most far-reaching change to the law for people with learning disabilities for many years.  It will mark a real step forward for the human rights of those affected, and is perhaps a once in a generation chance to enshrine many of the principles we have been working towards for many years in law.

 Over 2024, service users from ENABLE Glasgow have been taking part in the consultation exercise on the new Bill.  The report from the consultation has now been finished, and you can read an easy-read version here.
