Major Redevelopment at Balshagray
Over the past six months or so we have been undergoing major redevelopment at our Balshagray supported living project, which is home to thirteen people with learning disability, and supports people in their own tenancies in the local area. The £700,000 investment will provide much improved communal living space, a new kitchen, better staff facilities, and attractive landscaping.
Service users and family members have been closely involved in every stage of the development, and are very much looking forward to seeing the finished result. We expect the works to be complete by early March 2026, but just before Christmas service users were able to get a preview of work so far. We’ve been fundraising for this work for some years, and it’s great to see all the hard work coming to fruition.
